The Developers, ARC Properties & TriColour Investments

A joint venture was formed between Justus van der Hoven of ARC Properties and Rob Wilkie of TriColour Investment in 2015.

Justus van der Hoven (Snr) – Managing Director

ARC Properties was established in 2002, with a focus on developing large commercial projects. The first office projects were developed in Hyde Park, Parktown North, and Melrose. ARC Properties has advised The Medscheme Group as development managers for approximately 60,000m2 of office developments. ARC Properties was also appointed as property developers to The Bank Note Company to assist with their new R 500 million printing facility. The firm adds value through maximizing development rights, negotiating property values and clever design innovations.

Justus is an Architect (B. Arch – Cum Laude: University of Pretoria 1981) by qualification.

Rob Wilkie – Chief Executive Officer

Rob Wilkie brings a wealth of experience in property investment and development and business merger and acquisitions. Over the past 7 years he has built an extensive, high quality property portfolio which he both manages day-to-day and provides strategic direction for future growth.

Prior to joining TriColour Investments, Rob was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Sage Group Plc International Region comprising Africa, Australia, Middle East, Asia and Brazil. In this role he was responsible for driving financial performance, fiscal discipline, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, group treasury and other related activities.

Rob completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Witwatersrand in 1992 and 1994 respectively, and is a member of the South Africa Institute of Chartered Accountants. In 2004 he obtained a MBA from the Manchester Business School in England.
